It is once a year opportunity for children to immerse themselves fully into Capoeira world, be a Capoeirista from past to nowadays, dress-up, role play, tell stories, sing, play music, dance, learn acrobatics and of course learn and play Capoeira!
Most of us might not be able to take our kids to Brazil this summer, but we can bring Brazil to us, for a week anyway!
And what a week it will be, full off many colourful activities all connected to Brazil and Capoeira, like various dances such as samba, maculele, fishermen's dance which will also involve role playing and dressing up, then playing various musical instruments and singing, telling stories from past and how Capoeira came about, how people lived and live now in Brazil, among other things and of course play Capoeira and practice acrobatics.
After a week full of fun investigating Capoeira in all its forms children on Friday will make a small performance for their families and pass on their knowledge.

The aim of the school is to introduce Capoeira to those who have never done it as well as extend understanding of Capoeira for those children who already practice Capoeira, covering it's traditions, history and origin in a fun, interactive and friendly environment where children can also make friendships and have fun.
With venue being at the Palmer Park we will be performing some activities outside if weather is dry to have a change of scene and air.
